The FFB Dragon Boat Club (FFB) was first established in 1998 and incorporated in 2003 (FFB Dragon Boat Club Inc). The FFB Dragon Boat team began as a group of friends who wanted to try something different as a summer water sport. Once they started paddling they never looked back!
Many friendships have been formed along the way and many paddlers have great memories of seasons past. Over the years FFB members have been involved in working together for the achievement of the team, their sport and to having loads of fun along the way.
Many trophies and medals have been awarded to the team over the years with the 2002-2003 season being our most successful with many placings and wins, including Gold, Silver and Bronze.
FFB is participating at both state and national level competition and competes against international teams in races varying in length from 250m, 500m to 1,000m in men's, women's and mixed divisions.
Our team actively supports the Corporate Dragon Boat events in Sydney. Our coaching staff is involved in training a number of premier Sydney corporations.
