Race days are advised well in advance and you will need to confirm your attendance to the Race Co-ordinator (RC).
Make sure you are clear about the venue, the time you should be there and what to bring. Start time is 8.00am at the site unless otherwise advised.
It is a club requirement that you are properly attired to race. Make sure you have the uniform with you in order to participate on the day.
The race uniform is:
Singlet (provided when you join)
Cap (provided when you join)
Black shorts or leggings - without logo's (provided by you).
If you need transport to and from a race, make sure you organise this with the Race Coordinator
Selection process
The coaches and captain will decide on the paddlers to take part in the race and call positions prior to warm up.
Racing is fun, there can be long waits between races so please keep out of the sun, don't overeat and have a book handy to help pass the time.
We always celebrate after a race so a change of clothes is a must.
